Someone slowly backed/rolled into my Tacoma in the campgrounds on Saturday. I was on the horn as we saw him coming so he stopped before crushing my bed or wheel. Two small scuffs on the black plastic over fender. No vibrations or anything unusual driving home yesterday. Should we even worry about this?20190218_094633.jpg

Nope, not worried... just pissed. Get it fixed so you don’t have to look at it every time you get in the truck, then forgetaboutit.

I'd have that looked at by a qualified professional. There could be hidden damage, or even delayed after-effects.

Edit: As surreal as it may be, apparently this thread is for real. The statement above however, is not.^^

Looks like you lucked out. My first accident, I was 16, and someone T-boned me in an intersection at night. Didn't see any damage and I was freaking out since I had never been in an accident before so we both just went our separate ways. Turns out he hit me directly on my passenger side rear rim and bent the suspension pretty good. Didn't take long driving from the scene with the car jerkily pulling to the right to realize I was screwed and had some expensive repairs ahead of me.

I would suspect frame damage for sure, make sure to see an injury lawyer and ask your mom if you can play after 9pm too.

I’d ignore it if it is going to go to CarFax.

Ask RP to just buy replacement part and DIY repair if you don’t want to live with a scratch.

I think the rear tire stopped him mostly. I'm more concerned about my diff/suspension than paint/plastic.

I had more damage to my truck when a Ridgeline parked 2 parking spaces down from me at the grocery store... just the proximity to that poser had my Taco upset...
