after many years riding ATV's and Mountain Bikes, thought it was time to try something new. I am 44 years old and my racing is behind me now, but I still enjoy riding. a couple buddies and myself are wanting to get into some pit bike riding. small bikes for us older out of shape adults, should be hella fun. I actually still have my daughter's 2001 Suzuki DS80 that is in almost new condition, she rode it maybe 5 times. I remember this thing being a blast to ride. just need to get it tuned up and spruced up and ready to go. so, if you ride, post up your bikes and recommendations on which bikes are good or bad. my buddies still need to buy some. and I may buy a newer one if possible myself.

One of the worst wrecks I ever had was on my YSR50. Came bombing into a corner on the limiter, went to downshift and felt 2 clicks and had a highside from hell. After 2 hand surgeries I still can't make a fist.

Not a real 'pit bike' but I love putting around town on my 1975 Yamaha DT175!

Myself and some friends all ride XR100s. A couple of us have studded tires to ride on ice. We take them to AMA Vintage Days, rip around at camp, do whatever.

We have some parts on ours. Exhausts and such. But the rule is we aren’t allowed to split the cases to do work. Have to keep them stock. Things get a little competitive at times

A DS80 was on of my early pit bikes, switched over to Zuma 50's & 125's later on. I quit track riding 5 years ago at 63.

My '89 YSR50. Still a 50. Still street legal. I have had every bolt in this bike apart. It'll do 70mph and 3rd gear wheelies with my fat butt on it.
