For 3rd Gen Tacoma- the RFM-TYT includes 2 side cameras that can be snapped on and adds six video inputs + A/V input. Various Camera views can be toggled through the steering wheel controls.

Alright, if anyone can solve my issue I will be forever grateful.

I installed the switch for the rear camera to my switch pro 9100 on switch 1 and it was working perfectly- I waited until I had time to install the front camera (today).

So, I installed the front camera trigger wire to the switch pro, then the power for the front camera/red wire to my blue sea fuse box and grounded the camera/black wire to my terminal block.

I went to start my truck and I only get the front camera now- when I click switch 1 it goes to front cam (supposed to be reverse cam which had been working) and when I hit switch 2 it goes to front cam too. I even get the front camera when I put it in reverse. Do I need to connect the power from the camera to the switch pro? I feel like the constant power from the blue sea fuse box might have something to do with it. I am probably just being dumb but any help would be greatly appreciated.

Take the pictures and pm me. Possible that you put Red wire (from Add-On) to both 12v...

It ended up being simple- just had to ditch the blue sea and go straight through the sp for front too. I have it working 100% now. Thanks so much for always helping so quickly Hoangde! Your customer service is on point. Quality product

I've been reading this and other threads to build my preferred anytime camera setup. What I'm looking to do is use one of two dash-mounted switching interfaces:
    • A conventional ON-OFF-ON rocker switch.
    • A rotary knob combined with a SPST power switch.
For option 1, I've seen the one for the anytimebackupcamera.com vendor but users have noted momentary pause when toggling front->rear (or vice versa), the LED indicators are not reflective of the actual state of the system, and the illumination is not OEM blue. However, that switch represents what I'd like to use if option 2 isn't possible/feasible.

For option 2, both of the components would be small and I'm wondering if it'd be possible to get a blank switch plate and simply drill into it to mount the knob and on-off switch. The knob controls the camera input while the switch controls power. I'd rather go this route. Sounds cooler and is more DIY and unique. The on-off switch is just a generic unit like this:

I don't know where to get a simple rotary knob, though. The other issue is dash illumination. I bet someone makes the on-off switch with illumination but my research on rotary knobs has yet to yield a vendor who supplies an illuminated offering for an affordable price or even one suited for this use.

Damn those look good. Gonna have to build up a schematic to make sure I have the right idea for everything. Just looking to get front/rear camera availability without selecting an AV source.

    He does, just ask.
EDIT: I should mention I started this path too... got so far as to get DPDT relays as my switching.

What do you mean "he does"? I've seen his schematic which has definitely helped.
