    Located in Irvine, CA
    Price: $4,250

Here are some details about it:
-Working torsion bar with no rust
    -No rust on the hinges
-Sliding windows in good condition - Screens in good condition as well
-Interior build out on the sides
-2x Lights on the left side of the shell
    -Mattress is good condition
-No tears in the canvas of the Flippac. It can be cleaned to an extent, but it does have dirt marks on some parts and a slight yellow hue from the sun.
-All zippers function and work properly
-New seals on the top lid and bottom
-I can see a few crack marks on the front lower lid from age. Cosmetic, yet it is there
-6 LARGE windows. Airflow is no problem in this thing
-Takes 1 minute to setup, 2 minutes to fold away
-No splitting of the fiberglass on the rear like others have

It will fit your first, second, or third gen 6’ bed ONLY! Please purchase KB Voodoo Bed caps if you intend on purchasing this. It will save your life with leaks, trust me. Also buy bed stiffeners.

Here is a video of when I bought it: https://youtu.be/X7biqpQynt8

Remember most people are buying camper shells for $1,500 - $2,000+, then adding a $2,000+ tent to it. Then realizing they have to climb down a ladder 7' in the air, spent 10 minutes trying to put the tent away that's super high on the truck, loss in MPG, and having to deal with the increased COG. Then realizing the shell can snap crack unless you purchase the Overland edition...I can go on and on as I tried every different setup possible. This is a game changer. Being able to stand up to change, accessing everything in the bed of your truck, etc.

I need more of this in my life HAHA! Unfortunately the truck is “pending sale” and the person wants the Flippac with it. I tried to talk him out of it actually...Oh well. I used it 15+ times in the short time I had it.

I’m looking but it’s difficult. 80% of my truck sale is going to my sister, and the rest may be used for a downpayment and me financing. Thankfully, I have an amazing father who is willing to split with me on a new(er) truck, but I cannot afford a brand new truck.

I test drove a camry today and really liked it and it’s in my budget. It also got great gas mileage and was really smooth!

What a strange post... you don’t want to sell the camper, the money goes to your sister, and your dad is splitting a car with you? Heh? Lol

Haha, Of course he does. I'm digging the reverse psychology sales pitch.

Good Luck on your next purchase. Cheers!

Haha let me try and break it down.

My sister needs money for grad school and I don't want her taking a loan - I also owe her.

Dad is the best dad I could have ever had.

I spent 2 years looking for the Flippac to have to sell it.

Honestly, it's a "me" issue

What really sucks is when buddies text you they are going camping, and you realize there's no way in hell a camry is going to make it past Gate Keeper in Anza :bananadead: Hopefully I find something else that fits my budget. I see a lot of 4Runners priced lower than Tacoma's so that is one option too.

Completely unrelated, but, where the hell can I get my hands on one of those smaller snorkels that you have?! I hate that massive beast of a snorkel ARB currently has. Also lots of good 4runners out there to fill the Tacoma void in your life.

eBay! I also think Dobinsons makes one very similar. This is the Hilux snorkel.

There was some guy on expeditionportal.com selling a 6ft flippac and he had pics of it on a 5ft 1st gen DCSB bed. He said he built some kind of extension box for it, and might have had the tailgate down to support it or something. There are a few pics on his for sale post, but none that show the extension work he did unfortunately, and the post was back in July 2018 I think, but it sounds like it's certainly possible with enough patience and resources.

So what did you tell CA DMV "EXPOASF" meant?
