4WP has $50 off all Smittybilt covers with free install. The delivery is free also if you don't live near one. Picked mine up for $309 with free install. Wish they had the $50 off at the time but I feel like it was still a good deal. I have been very happy with this cover. Very easy to install and takes less than 5 minutes to take off.

I have had my Tyger tri fold for a couple of years now. It still looks great, is pretty watertight in the Seattle weather, and is easy to open and close.

The Tiger roll up honestly seems just as good as any of the competition. Six months with mine, very happy. It is NOT some kind of low-budget product. If you want a rigid cover or tri-fold, OK, but don’t dismiss the Tyger if you want a roll up.

I'm gonna agree. Snow, touchless car wash, etc. For $190, I have no been nice to it, figuring I'd snag another if need be.
Help up great so far, adjustable tension, blah blah.
Just need to get some sort of gasket material, as my rack creates a gap... but, that isnt the fault of the cover.

Opinions on Tyger vs Gator? I want a bed cover but I'm not looking to spend $800+ on one. I was looking at the Tyger T1 or T3 and the Gator SFX. Leaning towards a tri fold because I don't see myself utilizing the entire bed that often.

I know this thread is a couple of years old but I am a new Tacoma owner (Had Tundra) and have been looking for a decent, reasonably priced cover that doesn't leak much and is sturdy enough to get decent use out of before replacement.

I have been reading multiple threads on here and unfortunately they all seem to raise more questions than answers.

I had a previous cover on another truck that used velcro down the bed sides and I had more trouble with the velcro than anything so I would like to avoid that if at all possible.

To make matters worse, Amazon and other websites have not been updated with the 2022 model and I'm thinking that the ones for previous models "should" work?

I have a 2022 SR5 crew cab with 60.5 bed and the track system in place. I do not wish to modify the bed or even drill any holes.

    What do you guys recommend?

I've had my Tyger T1 roll up cover for about 4 months now and it's been great. Keeps water out just fine, and has held up to the little bit of snow we've had so far. The quality of materials was surprisingly good for the price and it was VERY easy to install.

I have the Kikito Professional FRP Hard Tr-fold for over a year now and it’s been great. For an Amazon special I’m happy with it.

Over two [EDIT: over three] years on my Tyger rollup, parked outside year-round, frequently stretched over a full bed load and/or over a bike tailgate pad, zero issues.

Nearly $500 for this cover though, and this thread is asking for $300ish.

I switched to a Tonno-Pro low roll, really like it, even more so than the tri-fold. Looks so much cleaner and easier to use.

Anything out there for less than $200 for temporary use? I'm getting a Go Fast Camper installed in late February, and I need something to protect my ARB drawers from the rain since I don't have a garage. Recommendations welcome!

The Tyger T1 is under $200 and it's great. I love mine. It can be installed/removed in less than 30mins. If the rails aren't in your way, just roll it up and you have full access to the bed.

Another vote for tyger. Had the roll up one on my tundra for 2.5 years through -40 to +40c and it’s always worked as it should. Went with roll up one as I can still load dirt bikes in the bed without any issues or having to remove cover or obstruct rear window

I am very happy with the Extang Trifecta E-Series that I purchased locally. It is a three panel soft cover that folds up and can be strapped to the back for access to 2/3 of your bed.

    It was about $330.

It has been raining a lot here lately and it has not leaked.
