    Hello,
I've googled, I've read a bunch of threads and discussions and I am still not 100 % on the answer. So here goes my question:

I am the sole owner of a 2013 Tacoma TRD 4WD with the off road and tow package. In years past my truck stayed in the city but lately we have been venturing out onto more dirt roads and snowy conditions.

Is there a factory installed recovery point on the front end and if so, where is it located, or are there only tow/tie down/hook points which are not recommended for recovery?

I am not planning on doing anything gnarly out there off road but I do frequently encounter snowy conditions and if I ever get stuck and needed the recovery strap on the front end, I want to make sure the recovery strap is correctly placed. So much to learn and trying not to learn it the hard way...

Unchained 5150 asked if I got an answer to my question on a separate thread. yes I did. I cannot figure out how to remove a duplicate thread/thread posted in two separate areas if someone can help me with that. There is no option to delete an original post (that I can see ) with the edit option. I am only seeing the delete option with reply posts. Sorry if I made some of you read the same post twice and thanks for all the input. Feel free to delete this original post if you have the power to do so.
