...soooooooooo, what size tires can I fit with the 93 performance tune?? :D

No TSB, so only the base tunes for me for now...but despite being just a BASE/MPG tune, I can say that I loved my ride to work this morning!! @OVTune , you said you can't work magic, but I beg to differ cause I love the tune!!!! Can't wait for gearlock too!!

My truck has had a stumble since I bought it new. I flashed this morning before my trip across ohio. It seems to be non existent so far. A little more power at highway speed and the shifts seem to be better between 3-4. Its a lot smoother also.

Yep, just took 87 base for a spin and it is great. Very stable, shifting is nice, response is a bit better than previous 1.05, power is better through rpms (it seams). This is how these trucks should have come. Nice job @OVTune

@OVTune I flashed 91 performance on the truck and it was awesome but the tip in it was a bit much and with ETC was insanely hard to start without spinning tires after 50 miles on it . Then flashed 91 base tune and it seemed to tame so tried to go back to 91 performance and not use ETC. Did identify and all was good , chose 91 performance tune and checked write . It did the chksum and battery check all was good , went to flash and it did it in about 1.5 seconds , and said it was completed successfully . We idled and went for a drive and knew instantly it did not go to the performance tune . the tip in is impossible not to notice so it did not change to the performance tune . Any one else have this happen ?
I do not know how Mat got this engine to wake up like this in the performance tune but he did , and we want it back !

Been driving 1.05 93 Performance tune for two days on my completely stock 2017 Limited. A few "observations":
    1. The 2-->1 downshift "clunk" came back cold and hot.
    2. The "tip-in" is a bit much for me.
    3. Easing through parking lots at slow speed would cause the truck to surge/buck.
    4. I would occasionally hear detonation in the higher RPM's (two different tanks of 93 from two different gas stations).

I never had any trouble installing the new software or tunes. I used TechStream to clear the ECU and TCU after flashing. I did the "idle for 10 minutes" on the first startup. My truck gets 93 octane every fill-up.

Just a little history, my truck has ~14,500 trouble free miles and I have used tune versions 1.04R, 1.05, 1.05 idle fix, and now 1.05 Performance (all 93 octane). I just flashed back to 93 1.05 Base to give that a try.

Again, this is not a complaint, bug report, or anything of the such. Just observations over the past two days. 1.04R and 1.05 idle fix are AMAZING in my truck. I am hoping the new 1.05 Base is similar.

Good. Let them "read it" and let them give me a hard time. I'll be glad to tell them how their piss poor stock tune almost got me killed. Mat has said that he'd provide cold hard data if a case ever ended up in a court of law.

If the tip in is a bit much for everyone I can make new versions with a milder tip-in. After 02/03/60/61. With new flash manager its super easy to do wide updates so no problem at all.

Regarding any detonation, until the ignition trims have fully set in it can happen. Especially the first few times you go through that rpm range.

Right now the tip-in is very similar to that of the older 6.2L Ford Raptor. I got to drive Tom Cruise's stuntman's Raptor and it felt just like that...except it was a cable throttle so it was IMMEDIATE. Not sure if that is good or bad

The 93 performance tune is aggressive and some people really like it. I liked it for the fun factor, but it wasn’t to my liking for daily driving.
I’ve switched to 91 performance and like it much better for my daily drive.

Just don’t kill the option for those who like the aggressive, when a less aggressive option is already available.

    I've driven a 6.2L Raptor before and the tip-in wasn't excessive.

@Rocky.Mtn did you ever get everything worked out properly with your tuning software, since you're using a Windows tablet? I'm still interested in replacing my laptop with a Windows tablet as well

yes - flash manager includes both pcm (dongle) and p5flash (dongle-less). Just be sure you select the proper link for your PC (x86 bit or x64 bit) and follow instructions. see the op for links.
