FEELER: 01 Solid Axle Swapped Crawler

Putting a feeler out on selling the Tacoma and building another one. Basic details are 3.4 auto with dual cases. 4.7 rear. 4.88s Ruffstuff mini truck front axle and Detroit with e locker rear. Bobbed bed to 60 inches. Chevy 63s. Tg 3 in front springs. Psc hydro assist. Twin sticks. 39s or 37s. Could easily be dailyed on 39s but the 37s ride a little better. Solid built. Half doors and full doors.
All the bugs have been worked out. Mostly trailered but use to drive it to and from trails and wouldnt hesitate to drive it cross country and wheel.

24k or obo. Make an offer. wont affend me. Dont really know how to price it so I'm sure it's high.

Not sure yet. Maybe another 1st gen. Maybe a street legal buggy. If it does sell ill pick up a beater for the time being.

Nice build and well put together. Agree with the price being way on the high side though.

 

No doubt the price is high. But price out the build and realize your getting a lot. Plus the fab work and the amount of spare parts. No where near the amount of money or time I've put into and No reason to sell. Just putting it out there

Hmmmmmmm. A pipe dream for me would be selling my current 2nd gen build to buy this and a $3000 beater corolla to DD. Beautiful truck! More pics please though I cannot buy it. Sad face

 

Still no rush to sell. Back to working on it and finishing up the new rear axle and throwing a high pinion third in the front with 5.29s, rewiring all the light and the winch and just some general maintenance.

It’s torn apart at the moment but wouldn’t be hard to put back together to were it was for asking price. With the new rear axle I’ll want significantly more.

Anything’s for sale. It’s currently torn apart getting a new rear axle so price will go up a few thousand.
