    I have

    <--

With my access cab, I have a foam bed that I shove down between the front seats and the rear seats which makes everything flat and covers the carpeting etc, not that I care about such things. He just jumps in and goes to sleep.

My girlfriend has something like this:

for her much smaller Rottie in a double cab.

Sorry man, maybe you missed my previous post about beds being a bad idea for dogs in Texas. It’s simply too hot.

Summer starts in a few weeks here, literally. The heat breaks at Halloween.

Most dogs here ride inside the cab for that reason.

I've got one of the hammocks like @PCTaco has for my 130lb Dane. She fits right in there and loves it!

    Congratulations on the puppy! !
Our 80lb Retriever gets the whole back seat to himself. Just the wife and I so back seat doesn't get used much anyways so I leave it folded down all the time. Got an old blanket covering the folded seats and then a dog bed and mat on top. Pretty comfy, he loves it! Been tempted to nap out there a few times myself on long road trips lol!!IMG_20190107_1812429.jpg IMG_20190107_1806267.jpg

Interesting, so there must be local laws preventing owners from doing that then?

Two shepherds. They ride in rtk crates in the bed. Temp is monitored and I have battery powered DeWalt fans if needed to circulate the air.

We don’t need no stinking power seats...woof, woof.
Our furry friends ride better than we do.

Newman is my little co-pilot. He rides shotgun or on the armrest.

We have been hauling our two larger dogs in the softopper. It's totally weather tight/wind proof if its raining/snowing, and it provides shade from the sun when it's hot. Also never have to worry about hair/dirt in the cab again. You can also roll up the front quarter of the softopper's sides to create doggy windows if you want the pooches to be able to stick their heads out and get some wind.

If you have to haul dogs, a softopper is worth its weight in gold - makes life so much easier. Mine is actually for sale on this site in the 3rd gen listings for a steal ($400) if anybody is looking for one. My fiance just bought a new SUV so that will be our new doggo hauler.

You need to put something in the photo to give us a reference like a milk jug or something. I don't think I've ever seen a 205lb dog. That's awesome!

I have a 80 pound Doberman that I use a hammock in the back, however after witnessing a crash I’ve decided to begin searching for a crate that fits in the backseat or I may be upgrading to a larger truck or SUV so I can fit my gunner kennel in the backseat. Since we typically take him everywhere with us and on long trips (8+ hour car rides)
