    General flex issues, if you wheel your truck it can spread the bedsides to the point where you can’t keep the tailgate closed.

    They work really good. I had a tri fold tonneau cover and ever time I went off roading one of the corners would pop off. Put them on and it stoped it. The plus is that u have extra mount points. If u have something big and the tail gate down u can put the straps on the stiffeners .
