    Hello all,

I'm considering installing a dash cam on my 2018 Tacoma TRD Off Road double cab. I've narrowed it down to the Blackvue DR900S-2CH which includes both a front and rear camera. Just wondering if anyone's installed one, how much work it is to run the cords through the headliner and if it's worth the money and effort?

    Thanks,
    Dan

OP its not that difficult. I just installed mine this pass weekend and ran it along the pillars and headliner. Took me about an hour or 2. Got the power magic pro installed too.

I've ordered the Blackvue DR900S-2CH too. I'm bouncing back and forth on if I want to mount it in front of the rearview mirror or on the existing Gopro mount. It's pretty well hidden behind the mirror but I don't want to see the Gopro mount go to waste. I'm leaning towards the Gopro mount but I don't want it stolen. Will the Blackvue mount to the gopro mount? Is there an adapter that will let me do that?

I installed a DR750S-2CH with a B-124. Took a few hours, mostly routing cables. Expensive but I am pleased with what it provides. For reference, I tapped into the DOOR S/L (think that's the one) 20A fuse. I tried testing for constant/switched fuses but I must've been doing it incorrectly because every fuse was hot even with the engine off. Haven't had any battery issues and every reading I've taken with a multimeter at the battery terminals shows 12.3V or better.

I'd reccomend going with a garmin personally.
