You need to shim that thing with some washers. 1/4" gap will accommodate the body/frame flex.
    Truth but 1/4" suffices.

A very sad day for me. I sold off my softopper to another kid. I need to fund other things so off it goes. Very happy for him but sad for me. I instantly regretted it as soon as I watched him drive off. Lol

Oh well, anyone have a cover they’re letting go of?

Finished installation of my Radflos over the weekend and tested them on my commute into Portland on I-5.

Much thanks to Erick and @state48overland for all the help in choosing this setup (Keep your phone charged) and Curtis at Radflo for the custom valving and T-shirt.

The same shit everyone else has.
    I will.

Check my build thread. There’s some detailed info in there on how it’s mounted.

    upload_2019-2-20_2-8-3.jpg

I mod’d the compressor per this thread - It’s hard wired to my Blue Sea fuse block.

I ditched the oddball sized fittings it comes with and replaced them with standard NPT fittings.

Basically my goal is to relocate the switch and the fitting from under the hood to the bed to make it more practical.

I’ll update my build with more details as I go.

Haha, my girlfriend and I picked these up off of eBay. Random people like to take up two spots or so in front of our house making it a headache when family/friends come by. (residential street parking) These get the point across. permanently. Haha

I’ll post pics when I get a chance today, it’s easy and straight forward...probably about $10 in materials if that. :)

Let me know how it works out. I was just thinking to myself this morning that I would like to see the trans and transfer case temp. I was running in 4WD because of the wet icy snow we had last night.

I had my wife hold the tailgate at an awkward angle and tightened the hose clamp that way from underneath. It would take a lesser mind, or someone in a hurry, a minute to figure out how to get to the clamp end. I also used one of those square end hose clamps, rather than the standard Phillips nut drive hose clamps.

You could use a standard washer with the same OD that I used. It just needs to fit inside of the cable end. You will just need to drill out the ID so it will fit over the shoulder bolt that the cable rotates on. I would source a grade 8 because a chepo washer will chew up and twist when you try to drill it out.
