I'm consider a used 2017 Tacoma Off-Road. The rear bumper is chrome and the front is colored same as truck. Is this an option or do all off-roads have a chrome rear bumper for 2017?

    Thanks,

I’m pretty curious about this also , I’m picking up a brand new 19 off-road tomorrow and it has a chrome rear bumper

I believe the premium tech package has a parking sensor and body color rear bumper and off roads without that get the chrome.

On the 2017 if you got the Premium & Tech Package you got a painted rear bumper.

I didn't like the chrome on mine. I bought a set of covers on

I got the bed liner ones, had them on about a month and seem fine. Looking at their Instagram they are coming out with color matched ones too.

I second the bumper shellz! I have them body colored. They're a shade lighter than the factory paint, but you have to really look to notice.

Putting them on was easier than expected.

Relative to the ease of install as well as cost to have a painter do the same work, I think they're a good value. I had considered removing the stock bumper parts myself and going that way, but buying those ended up being the way to go for me.
