I am experiencing a weird clunking sounds and the feeling of something shifting on my front end but I can't determine what it is.

The clunk is loud when I am at full lock and give it some gas (ie backing out of a parking space or turning hard from a stop). It only happens when I first start moving the truck for the day. However, I can feel a slight shift of something setting via the gas pedel when I am braking.

It is hard to pin point the component causing the sound and feeling.

To me, it feeling like a nut isn't tight and something is setting into place but when I get under the truck, nothing is apparently loose.

    Any ideas?

I appreciate your difficulty in converting impressions into words.

Its 100 times harder to convert words back into impression.

Is it maybe a POP? Could be all kinds of things... CV joints come to mind since they're commonly known for making popping noises at hard lock when compromised.

If automatic, transmission may downshift while braking. You'd feel that.

It is almost as hard as putting feelings into words.. according to my exgirlfriends, I am not good at that either...

The sound can also be considered a POP but the feeling in the pedal is a slip or shift of something. I can not pinpoint a side either.

It was doing this did this BUT I did regear the front 2 weekends ago. I thought it was something that would be fixed in the process of regearing.

As per my further research and the video below, I am thinking my LCA bushings may be the root cause. I have newer SPC UCAs so those shouldn't be a problem. However, my LCA bushings are factory and have 12 years plus 200k miles on them.

Any thoughts on how to tell if my LCA bushing are bad or my theory?

BUCKLE UP! It makes it harder for Aliens to pull you out of your Truck.
Looks like the right side of the bushing is gone

Let me clarify, this video is NOT my truck but a video that I ran across during my research that replicates the sounds and feeling that I am experiencing.
