With my OT, I make more than my supervisor. He is salaried.
They hire Mechanics (entry level) and Senior Mechanics (prior experience). A lot of new hires just have military experience but are being hired entry level.

Well, that was a strange call from my General Foreman...

I get a call basically telling me things are not working out the way he would like and that he has to let me go. and that foreman didn't want me on his crew anymore and how others have said the same thing. I was a bit shocked but ok... in this line of work being able to get along with your crew is important since your life is in there hands, trusting there abilities and there judgement is crucial. and moving people around until they can fit in happens.

I called up a coworker who i have worked closely with up until recently, and told him I just got fired, and told him what was said. he was like.. you need to call your foreman, because what you was told and what i have heard doesn't line up..

So I called my foreman and told him I just got fired, and told him was was said, and was like.. "Hold up let me call this dumb ass" about 60 seconds later i get a call from the GF saying "OOPS wrong person, made a bad mistake.." there was another guy that should have gotten the call, and deserves that call. and for some reason I seem to be the default number he calls for non local numbers.

Yea so Fired, and then unfired all in the span of less than 5 minutes

Sounds to me like he owes you at least one hell of a good lunch, on him of course, minimum payment for the pain and suffering it caused (real or not ;))....
