I'm new to welding so I needed something to help me understand picking settings better lol. Found this chart on weldingtipsandtricks on YouTube that helps you pick settings based on wire feed speed. So I measured out all the settings on my machine.

I go by weld profile and how it sounds. But been welding for a bit so I kinda have a feel for it, as will you given time.

Yeah I hear that a lot. Just needed something in data form to help me understand it a bit better now. I'm only 2 months in haha.

Thanks just got the cutter today. Played with it for 5 minutes, ate some dinner and cut those out.

I probably don’t need them with the extra braces, but had to cut something.

@steele-taco just found this thread. Read every post. Great thread. Your build has come together rather nicely. Reading this has reminded me why I joined. All the great shit talking and all the great help. And everybody stayed civil.

Looks good. Before all of that fab work did you try the fairlead sandwich solution? Seems to be working pretty well for me.

I didn’t. It probably could have been left as it was, but I wanted it a little more protected, and needed something to weld.
