Water leaking on both sides of sliding window. Sealed back window and now only leaking on drivers side. Also replaced 3rd brake light. Still leaking. Going to reseal drivers side tomorrow.
No water in headliner or on the floor/ carpet. Only gets wet on access cab rear seat back.
    This is driving me crazy.

I had rain water coming in on the passenger side upper corner of the rear window gasket. It leaked where the roof trim went down behind the window gasket. I cut the roof trim a little shorter and filled that joint and behind the window gasket with black permatex silicone. I also sealed the roof trim to the roof with the same sealer. If the water gets under the roof trim it will flow back in the roof trim channel ,right in behind the window gasket ,and into the cab somewhere. I did both the passenger and drivers side. Still dry. The water ran under the headliner down inside the rear pillar trim and along the floor to soak the front carpet. These leaks are a big pain in the neck.

The same shit everyone else has.
Watching this since mine does this in a heavy rain.

It’ll drip down off the black weatherstrip on both sides one the rear seat back. Headliner never gets damp, just the fabric section of the seat.

Curious to see what steps you take to solve this.

Not sure if this is because I’ve had the 3rd brake light out before. The seal wasn’t damaged though.

I replaced my third brake light with a Chevy Colorado? one I think it was. It has load space lights in it. I had to enlarge the opening as the Chevy light was slightly bigger. I just sealed it neatly to the body with black silicone and it does not leak. You can do that with your stock light. If you have removed it the gasket may have been damaged and leak.

My whole back seat was wet after heavy rain I'm going to have to do something soon. I thought it was the roof rack or third brake light but I don't know it's coming from both sides more from the passenger side.

Both sides of my sliding rear window used to leak water. I tried sealing it with silicone but it didn't work. Couldn't really tell where the leak was coming from exactly.
Replaced it with a single pane of glass, and it's been great. The extra rear visibility is nice.

That’s whet I eventually want to do is replace with non sliding window. Did you have to buy new weatherstrip? Mine is sealed and not leaking at the moment.

This is the aftermarket window I bought. Needs nothing else but glue to install. The seller has another listing with some glue included if you want to DIY.
I didn't want to take the chance of another leak, so I had a shop install it for $249. Pretty expensive in total, but I was so sick of drying out the cab, I had to do it.
Your OEM window's weather stripping will be destroyed when removed. They don't sell rear window weather stripping by itself, only included with an OEM rear window. So there is no going back, your OEM window will basically be destroyed.
