Is anyone running a tonneau with a 50Qt fridge in the bed? I know it sticks up about an inch over the top of the bed rail and I’m trying to find a way to secure everything on my tuck bed, including the fridge, and keep my RTT either on my mid height KBVoodoo rack or another option that’s the same height. I like not having the tent above the roof.
I have 2 kids, so relocating the fridge to the cab is out. I think there’s nothing out there but I thought I’d ask...

With a mid height rack and RTT on top, you could run the fridge in an open bed and be fine if you have a cover on it. It would be protected from the elements well enough. I know a couple people who run like that.

I’ve been running like that for awhile. I’m more concerned with people stealing my beer. And if I park at a put in and kayak all day I know my sh*t will grow legs in the back.

Ah I gotcha. You could build an enclosure that'll both protect the fridge more, and will deny access to the fridge with the tailgate up. You'd have to open the tailgate and slide the fridge out to open it.

Just spitballin here because if the fridge is above the edge of the bed there's no way to get a tonneau cover on.

Original Access roll up tonneau covers are about an 1-1/4 above bed rails.

EatSleepWoof had a 50quart under his tonneau cover with. It worked very well. Sadly he is no longer on this forum due to a tiff with some mods. Shame amazing builds, but you can find him on expo.
