    I just picked up a new 2019 TRD Sport which came with the Entune Premium radio. I really liked the Car Play that I had with the aftermarket head I put in my 2010 Tacoma and am thinking about installing the Pioneer AVH-W4400NEX in my new truck. I have already been on the Crutchfield site and gotten the list of parts that are needed to keep the steering wheel controls and all the adapters and harnesses. I installed a 2300NEX in my last truck so I am pretty familiar with the process.

    I did have a few questions that I was hoping someone who has installed this radio could just confirm for me;

    1) Does the wireless charging work after changing the head? I would think it is independent of the head unit but just want to be sure.

    2) Does the wireless Apple Car Play work well when the phone is sitting on the wireless charger? No electrical noise interference issues?

    3) I see there is an adapter to keep the factory USB port. I assume that is for the one in the center dash under the cabin controls. Do I need to do anything for the two USB ports in the center console? Are those just for charging and not going through the head?

    Any pitfalls I should be aware of?

    Thank you in advance.

    sub'd, been thinking about this as well. Interested to see if all steering wheel controls work and doesn't affect center console information.
