I've started using LastPass. Through work we get access to the 'premium' subscription and I like it a lot. No more clicking forgot password on the accounts i only access a few times a month. There are options I believe to have 2FA through lastpass on sites that don't offer 2FA.

I found a pitfall to 2FA once. I mowed my mom's lawn for her, went inside, and realized I didn't have my phone. Couldn't find it anywhere in the lawn, in my truck or in the house. Eventually, it dawned on me--I'd use the Android Device locator site and make it play a tone.

Hopped on her computer, went to log in and--oh, I need to accept the login on my phone, which I obviously couldn't do.

I eventually did find it sitting on top of the battery under the seat, fortunately.

I use the one built into Google Chrome. Works great! As long as I sign into Chrome, I'm all set anywhere.

I've had something similar, but was given an option to do a secondary verification in another form. I think I have an email code verification in the process so by default I'd need my phone, but could chose to log into my email and verify through a link or something like that.

I think the other option was a text or a call with a verification code, which also didn't help.

I would have been fine at home since it only required 2FA for unrecognized computers, so I guess I was in one of the few situations where that would happen.

I've thought about that too. Luckily, I can log into Verizon and read my texts if I can't locate my phone.

Anyone know somewhere I can weigh my truck near Boston? Curious to see what I'm at with all my mods. I was thinking I'd just go to a junk/scrap yard and see if they'll let me use their scale.

Try the transfer station in Braintree. They have a truck scale.

not surprising as we all need "love". what made me chuckle, though, was the venue. MSNBC report indicated "the ladies" slept on the tables on which they worked, and cooked their meals on the back steps of their strip-mall "Spa".

There is a scrap yard in my area that has an outside scale. What you could do is bring in a known weight of scrap metal around your house and just subtract that from your total weight, that way you don't need their permission to use it.
