Just refi your car loan into your home loan. 30 year car payment! Pay less than 50 a month! And pretend you own it.

I like this idea! Imagine the money I’ll have for mods.

Now to work on that home loan (which is no chance happening here!).

Honestly if I really add them all up I’m sure I’d be in the same boat. I just don’t want to. I really regret building the Tacoma and brz. While fun it was a total waste of money. I’d love to go back to when my truck had an icon kit and 285’s.

I think eventually we will move. The weather is really nice but it’s too expensive. I don’t feel like paying $1M for an average size house in an average area.

We visited Portland a few weeks ago and it was really nice. Might end up there one day. I’m from Utah originally and don’t really have a desire to go back after living here and experiencing what’s like to be treated as an adult. Aka not under the church’s thumb.

Moving from the same real estate situation to outside Portland ourselves. Although I own my home already, we have to move for the future for our kid. It would be to hard for her to build a life here.

So you will trade that for being under the governments thumb in CA? I kid, but maybe i dont lol. The most enticing place to move that I have been has been Southern AZ.

Seattle and Portland are very similar to SF... just with shittier weather (we have seasons, albeit mild). Fremont in Seattle (Where I grew up) is is VERY similar to SF.

You get used to it... the gloomy winter makes you appreciate the +3 beautiful months of summer. People actually go out and take advantage of it.

Edit: plus, with global warming, we're the next CA

I was there for 2 years. The worst field conditions i was in. But maybe Im crazy, I enjoyed the heat of AZ and Iraq more then the 2 week field problems in the rain, in november.

Yep! I guess if you don’t drink beer and like being treated as a child Utah is great. Utah is pretty much governed by the church whether they admit it or not. Want a high point beer? Oh you better make sure to get to the government liquor store that isn’t open on Sunday. Want a high point beer with dinner. Oh nope you can’t get that unless it’s bottled. You can’t get high point draft beer. I could go on an on about the stupid liquor laws there.

Utah does have a lot more del tacos than California though! Which I miss.

My next stop is Washington. I feel like the further north we go the more we have to accept winter again. Over the last couple years I’ve gotten really used to no freezing temps! Can’t beat riding my motorcycle in the canyon mid “winter”.

I think you should be able to buy high proof no tax adult beverages at gas stations that also sell pot and machine guns, to bad there isn't any state like that.

Oh boy... Probably a few grand... @Slashaar what do you think?
a bunch of little stuff, a couple of big things, some inherited mods, a long list of to-dos...

I won't even buy matching hubcaps for my car... all of our fun money is for the taco
