    Thought I replied here

    Out in Waco at BSR for a wakeboarding trip. I had like 10 people in the bed with the tailgate down; I was taking them from the cable park to the boat competition on other side of park. I backed out into a tree from the campsite. Basically I couldn’t see or understand wtf people were saying. But I’m not bummed about it.

    Also had the worst gps guy in passenger seat, not to mention he was drunk as fuck.

    Plus nobody told me my tailgate was down otherwise I would’ve taken that overhang into account.

    Not really so I’m keeping it closed. Took some manpower to shut it.

    Of course it would not be a build thread without admitting your fails;
    last night had my first spin out going on a turnaround in heavy fog and rain + mud terrains + abs + 3am = fucking fail.

    Luckily I hit the turnaround going probably 15 mph, tried to power through the drift attempt, eased on gas then tapped the brake...abs went stupid then I ended up over the curb gently till a raised sewer grate of concrete put me to a complete stop. All in all the plate bumper did its fucking job and saw no damage to what it already had!

    What was the reason for the new driveshaft and Ujoints?

    Had this happen the other week. I want to blame the 29° weather we had that morning, given these handles are almost 20 years old.5EB700A2-A539-429C-A83C-BD3A6CA37EAC.jpg

    -Also what makes a door stay open? Old part I can replace?
    I know the back doors are smaller and they can stay open when fully opened.271A29C1-9A08-4B4A-BE03-FB92DFF14939.jpg

    Can’t remember last time u joints were replaced but they were bad forsure. Driveshaft has been bent for a couple years so said screw it and get a new one.

    I've seen that happen on so many 1st gens out here in the Az heat. multiple times on the same truck even. lol

    The OEM ones are definitely the better option too from what I remember them saying.

    As far as I know all of them are OEM, should’ve felt how stiff this was in the morning.

    Heh
