if you're gonna get a 4x4 because you wanna start offroading why not get a used 2nd gen 4x4? Seems risky to get a brand spankin new truck and start putting it through the ringer. Could save yourself like 8k and put that towards offroad parts

New TSB took out the wording for automatic but they removed one of the manual ECUs. Toyota still dumb about this.

Glad you got yours done. It changed my 6MT into a new truck.

Had Servco Honolulu flash my truck yesterday via TSB-0058-18 and boy does it make a difference. I didn't have much complaints before but now I don't think I could go back. Much smoother throttle response across the entire powerband and takeoffs (fast and slow) are much more responsive.

They wouldn't do TSB0062-18 but the service guy said they could do 0058-18 which is the same flash

I need to do this to my truck

Sometimes when i put it reverse thers lots of power
It scares the hell out of me have to press on the break really hard

    Using cruise control
Digital and speed meter not the same reading
And ita slows down on its own and goes again

Before reaching to 40mph it revs really high

Do i need to make a schedule with them
Or i can just go down there
    And what will i say?
My truck is so disappointing right now

You need to schedule an appointment, they're always booked at least a month in advance

Ok i took my truck to servco
The guy that chcking in the vehicles
Said since y truck is 2018
It might have the updated tsb program on it already
But he is going to check it

It just so happen my truck didnt have it yet
So they did the update tsb
    And man ohhhhh mann
Its running soo smooth now like my old 09 tacoma
    More responsive shifting smoother
None of that high revving anymore

Down side i started abusing my truck again like my 09 tacoma
Just step on the gas and burn rubber

My first service, I told them to check ANY updates available besides the Entune freezing. Oil change not required (2500 miles) but I told them I'll pay for it ( habit for me to change oil on new motor soon after break in) . Whatever they did to update and adjust , everything is smooth.
Annoying Entune freeze fixed. Steering feels tighter. Stomping it on freeway the engine rev is SMOOTH.
At idle, it was smoother than when I brought it in .
I could tell when I was warming up when I picked up the truck.
On the mainland, people are having all sorts of issues with services and neglect. I hope Servco treats their customers well.
