Right on! Yeah aftermarket is a bit lacking and the TG dual crossmember mounts well....but could have alot better clearance. Plan to change mine up in the future.

Grabbed my donor case out of the barn. Been sitting there since I stole top shift parts from it back in 2002 for this article.

Going to take some serious elbow grease!

    Nope, stock.

    That's my 23 spline input.

Ok Davez, I need my adapter! Can't get much more ready....

Transfer case cleaned up nicely! Need to order two new bearings and should be set.

It does great around town, no complaints. It can't do 5th on the highway on a decent hill.

Honestly, I don't think I notice the difference with the weight of the tires, just the gearing difference from the height change.

I didn't drive the truck more than a few hundred miles before I put the new tires on, so I am probably not the best to judge the difference from stock.

Been working on some house projects for the past month. Had to do a little horse trading with my wife to justify the dual case purchase.

Finally getting some stuff done! Have everything I need to get the cases and tranny together.

Blasted and painted my new mini header and the downpipe. Exhaust will be new from the head on back! I used Eastwood's hi temp coating. Looks great, hope it holds up ok.

    Any time!

My club, the Keystone Cruisers usually hits Rausch or AOAA on the second Saturday of every month.

Today is AOAA, been a few months since I made it out...

    Thanks!

Nope, haven't spent any quality time with the truck lately. Tranny is still laying on the garage floor.....

I did figure out the homelink wiring, but it is sitting in a box.

After a defective flywheel (LUK), the new one fit fine and the tranny is installed. In the end I went with a regular LUK clutch. I figure the crawler will eliminate the need for anything fancy.

Driveshafts are at the shop to be lengthened/shortened and should be done next week.

    Back in the saddle again!

Very nice CAD model. Any chance I can get a copy of? What format is it in?
