    Took mine off. Can't tell any difference on gas mileage but the cabin noise is louder starting at around 55-60 mph.

    I just took mine off and added TRD pro skid plate , I think its a wash . I cant tell any difference in MPG or noise .I'm a geezer ride around with radio off most of the time .

    The OR doesn't have one. I don't think there is any difference in mpg, it is cosmetic. Maybe because the rims are bigger on the Sport? Who knows.

    Old thread, but the reason the OR doesn't have one is to help with the approach angle. All other trim levels, except the trd pro, have one.

    As do just about all other trucks and SUV's these days. Just look around. You are hard pressed to see any fairly current model car or truck that doesn't have one.

    My air dam came off first week. Worst looking trim piece on the truck.

    Like everyone else stated lost about .5-1.0mpg but gained a better front end look. No more Canyon look a like
