Well saw my first oil leak in 125k miles. Bah I was hoping to never see this day. Not sure where is coming from but it's almost gotta be coming up around the coil packs somehow. Any of y'all ever had oil up top like this? It's literally nowhere else

Fckn thought dirt rally 2.0 was gonna help me get back into racing but it looks like a damn flop like 99% of the ralleye games I've spent good money on. Bastards.

Only 1 of the dirt series turned out legit on pc for my son. Can't even remember which one it was.
I've played nearly every release for pc of any ralleye release and literally only had fun with one. Might have been dirt 4.

Theres like 3 motors in my wheel and 2 in the brake/gas pedals.
The wheel and pedal Ffb would freak a person out. It's not direct drive but if you get your thumb locked in the wheel if you were to spin out....you would be hurting.

A direct drive wheel will fckn break your thumb.

Delta joints installed. No more horrid play in my ball joints! Yay!

Just used a normal rental ball joint press and a layaround massive flat washer.

Be forewarned, when removing the uniball from icon uca, those mfers pop hard when the finally break free.

Also, ECGS parts came in today so I'll be tackling that next weekend. Trying to knock out as much as I can before the twins get here beginning of June (or sooner).

So much to do so little time but super :taco:!!

I would love to have a good racing pedal and wheel setup, but I’m sure the good stuff costs a fortune and I would want a realistic cockpit as well.

Haha yeah that was necessary. The oil is mainly up on top of the valve cover, not the seal area. It's odd. There's no oil containing things above the cover so the only origin location seems to be the damn coil pack at the back.

Id also check the spark plug tubes. Sometimes oil can leak into them. Pretty easy fix fortunately. Just need to pop off the coils/plug wires and look down into the tube.

You did accidentally spill oil there while adding oil did you? :notsure:

Yeah that's almost what it has to be. I don't see any other culprit. Did you ever fix it?

No accidental oil spillage. I've been good about not getting lazy and always using a good funnel. I used to pour and pray and call it skill haha

Damnit you got me haha! It's been so long since I've been in here I figured a simple hello wouldn't work.

So it was just a loose bolt? I figured it would have leaked since I last did the plugs 25k miles ago.
