I’ve had aftermarket ball joints on the 02 since I got it, don’t know what brand. They’ve been fine for the last 6 months.

    Once again, maintenance maintenance maintenance

I love how you installed those crazy Toyota logo rock lights before you installed bed lights. Haha.

Was a bit pricey, got a spray can of it from a Toyota shop in New Jersey off of Amazon for $30...$50 total including a can of clear coat spray. But it had good reviews and was supposed to match the radiant red almost perfectly

When fitting tires, do y’all trim the fender flare? Or heat gun it and try to re mold it? I’m running on the inner corner wear the mud flap would mount

I trimmed mine but hadn't thought of the heat gun trick at the time...I'd probably try that first now. Then just trim it if you still have issues.

Well I had 275/70/17s with no issues. But I swapped on shot 285/70/17s for the wheels. Still deciding what size I’m going to replace with. But 285/70/17 will be the smallest option

I trimmed my flares, my suggestion, atleast on the front is to do whatever you need to do to the pinch weld and then heat gun the fender liner, don’t cut it.

Just cut it off and be done. You should be able to see where you are rubbing. Hammer the shit out of that pinch weld

My pinch weld is flat, I just wanted to see what people were doing for the flares. Can you also show me your set up?

Replace shifter bushings on my Prerunner, there are 4 bushings but I thought i can only get to the front 2. I did the 2 only ‍♂️. It did make a difference no more play and the key can’t get stuck anymore when i turn it off. I also adjusted the bolt that connect the linkage together on the tranny lever. Others write ups say to mark it, i did, and i found it better to snug the linkage where there is no play on the park position. So don’t buy tranny mount right away thinking it has a play, ir worn out, it could be just your linkage and bushing issues.
