Hey guys! I usually stay on my side of the fence in the 3rd Gen section:anonymous: But I'm starting to crossover with some 2Gen goodies. I've finalized a few custom 3rd brake lights and I'm trying to get a feeler as to which combo people want. The cool thing about this setup is you can mix/match the light color to your specification. I.E; All red(brake), Red+ White(cargo light), Yellow for Chase, etc. These would bolt directly over your stock housing and take the place of the OEM red lens. Utilizing the stock seal. Obviously if you are running any other color than red there will be some additional wiring.

Let me know what you guys think!
    Current designs:

    KC 4 ROW
KC 4 ROW + NMO MOUNT
    BD 3 ROW

Nice! Any pics with the the KC Cyclones mounted? For a brake light I think the greater surface area of the cyclones would be a better choice and the ability to add high mount bed lights would certainly be ideal.

Not yet.. still waiting on Taylor @ KC for some final pics. I agree with you on the greater surface area, but on the other hand the new Baja Rock lights are double the brightness as previous versions. Either way, both lights are far brighter than stock, even those with an LED swaps. As for high mount bed lights.. I originally had 2 versions; 1) all lights perfectly vertical 2)angled down bed lights. I wasn't happy with the angled look, so I ended up splitting the difference and making them on the same plane but tilting down at ~5°. Should also help with the brake light as most cars are lower behind you so it should be a straight line of sight.

I think both would be cool, but I would really have to seem them on the truck to get a better gauge as to which one I thought looked better. I like the chase light idea. I also think three red running leds would be cool as an option, kind of like the raptors.

I would love just some red leds but looks all black. Sleek design.

That’s the easiest. Wire a t10 adapter on each new light and the new brake light would literally be plug and play(plugging into the light sockets of where the OEM bulbs were)
Not sure. Hoping around the $100 or less(housing only). LEDs wouldn’t be included, as everyone will want different configurations.
    :D
    Ask and ye shall receive.
Running light would be super easy. Basically wire all 3 new brake LEDs on a resistor or PWM module. Then to an ignition power. They would light up 50% anytime ththe truck is on, then 100% when brakes are applied.
Yup, I think it’s more aesthetically pleasing than stock and you even get more light output which is a benifit.

Any issue with water intrusion with the LED wire holes being on the bottom of the unit versus the top?

I really liked the 3 BD red brake lights you did for the 3rd gen. The stock 3rd brake lights on the 2nd gen are horrible.
