    New guy here..

Just bought my first truck and I need some advice on mods. I have a very basic understanding of the different parts and components, mainly suspension. If there's a thread that explains the function of each part, what modifications are necessary, and what to avoid, then I'd appreciate it if you could point me in that direction.

    My goals for the taco:

Daily Driver 90% of the time
Off-Roading on easy to moderate trails, occasionally climbing a rock here and there..
    I'd like a 3 inch lift with 33s

Over time, I'll add small mods here and there, but the lift is where I need guidance.

    Thanks!

Welcome. @Texoma is the resource you are looking for as far as experienced advice. He’s been a big help to me and many others as we have journeyed the path you are beginning. He’s a local and he can take care of installing your lift etc. if needed. Check out the links @Bigdaddy4760 included above. The gang over at Texas Toyota Coalition are amazingly friendly and helpful.
