I've done a lot of research on this, but wanna hear your opinions before I pull the trigger..

I've got a 2013 trd sport. Only drive about 10k a year as I have a take home police car. Live in north Jersey and we have pretty snowy/icy winters. Rarely if ever do i see off road other than some small logging trails for getting fire wood.

I've been looking at the falken at3w.

Would you steer me any other direction?

Most concerned about snow, and secondary would be mileage, and third mpg drop. Price also is always a concern.

    Thanks in advance.

I have been contemplating the mastercraft courser cxt. Full depth sipping on a all terrain. You will often hear about tires getting noises or losing the ability to grip, i think those experiences can be attributed to that a lot of tires don’t have full depth sipping.

I would never recommend something i don't own. That being said i considered both the Cooper 4s and wildpeak. Couldn't decide. I ordered both. After seeing them side by side i had no hesitation going with the falkens.

First concern snow. Can't speak to it. Doesn't snow here much. But it handles floods like crazy here. And these things shed water. I have no concerns about traction anywhere.
Second concern mileage and mpg. I have 2000 miles on my wildpeaks. They ride great. I went from 245 highway tires to these in 265. I lost 1 mpg after correcting for tire diameter. I have every reason to believe someone changing from another at tire to these would actually see an increase in mpg.
Don't take me wrong. Not knocking the coopers. As i said earlier i ordered both. I think you will be happy with either. But take recommendations on opinions cautiously, including mine.
