Car play and Android Auto on my factory radio!!!

I was blown away by this piece and wanted to share it. I have a iPhone 6 and have CarPlay in my Nissan I had to have it for my taco cause I got spoiled. I found a unit that worked perfect! I found it from a company out of California that sold it to me for 599. A little pricey but now I see why it was true plug and play like they said and installed in 30 minutes. I've taken my radio out before for a CB so it was easier this time. I now have car play AND android auto on my factory screen without changing my radio! Swipe, touch and Audio thru my truck. I'd imagine this is what toyota is gonna do in the future but it's super awesome to have it now. If anyone wants the Info let me know

 

Information for this would be great.. I remember seeing a video from somewhere in Asia with a plug and play set up that was in the $200 range, but not sure I’d trust it.

 

For sure I actually bought that one and it was crap. plus I couldnt get any help on it and it was in Korean. The company was GCH Automotive in California that sold this one to me. 9518475673 was the number I called. Ask for Santiago. He was super helpful and even followed up with me afterwords. I should probably add pics now that I think about it. A little steep but now that it's in, I dont regret it at all and my wife has a android s8 so she can use it too not that I'd let her roll in my baby! Jk baby if u see this post!

Yeah, all the pictures are good. I’d love to see some more feedback on this from others. Great to see options for the stock headunits since I’ve always hated aftermarket units.

Where did you run your usb/lighting cable? I’d love more information. Ideally I’d like to run the cable up one of the cup holders and get a cup holder phone mount

I ran ot to my center console because they provided an extension. Yeah it would have been nice to have a USB plate I connected my phone cable to that and I just leave my phone in my console now when I drive the company was GCH automotive and their number is 9518475673 his name was Santiago and he was super knowledgeable and helpful
