Looks like 275/70/17 tires will fit on wheels from 7" to 8.5" in width. I am interested in 4Runner Pro wheels (7" wide) and also Method 312 (8.5" wide). Are there performance advantages or disadvantages to either wheel width with those tires? Driving stability? Bead stability? Other?

I don't want to simply decide based on wheel looks if there is a performance difference.

    Thanks.
