Hey everyone, as the title states some of my front end is frozen solid because my town has cycles of snow, freeze, melt, freeze once more and back 'round again. I wasn't sure what a massive groaning thudding noise was a few weeks ago, dealership took a look and turned out the entire front end was frozen as was transfer case due to the weather cycles we get. Now I have the issue of my front suspension being blocked up with ice, particularly my lower+upper control arms, making some pretty gnarly knocking noises with no heat source (garage, etc) to remove the ice. Should I pick away at it with a hammer or chisel? Or can I feasibly use a heat gun and if I can at what temperature (to avoid melting any components, bushings, seals, etc, with poor aim.)? Forgive the questions as I am not incredibly mechanically inclined at this point.
    Thanks in advance.
