Lost many family members over the years and this one is the hardest. Lost a father a few years ago to old age, I can handle that. Lost an older half brother that was murdered over 20 years ago, that was hard to deal with. Lost 2 of my best friends while riding atvs at the age of 14, that was and still is hard at times. I didn’t think anything could get anymore painful in the way we lose a loved one that is close to you. I have been proven wrong, what could be harder than all of this you might ask. Losing a great brother by Suicide. I learnt to deal with the others over the years, but this one will be a challenge like no other. The thoughts that go through your head are like no other. I learnt one thing at a young age, and that is to live today to the fullest, because there might not be a tomorrow.

Thanks for the support, death is never easy no matter how. I just wish anyone thinking of doing it this way, they could ask for help. I know thinking about it, maybe they don’t have a choice and it was meant to be. He was as normal and healthy as could be. Hopefully none of you will ever have to face this. I will say one thing, life is full of mysteries and surprises good or bad God bless

I know those feels well. Lost my younger brother at 21. He was 19. Some things just don’t make sense.
It will never be easy, but it will get easier.

When my brother killed himself I spent years searching for why. While “events” and “situations” were somewhat able to explain the problems he face they never gave me an answer or a why. I have ultimately settled with the fact that irrational acts can come from irrational places in some people’s minds. I have forgiven those who caused pain in his life and I have forgiven myself for not having seen it coming. As with the other untimely deaths of friends we both share, and the more “normal” loss of elders, we have all to common connection with this loss. I’m sorry for you and your family and when you start to find your new path I’m hopeful you will find many signs that remind you of the life you two had and some of the pain in how he left us can fade.
