Just got off the phone with MA Vehicle Program - Motorist Assistance Center and he confirmed 3.6" mechanical lift so I should be fine. He also said the inspection station should have the stock information and said he'd follow up with them after our call. We'll see...

I'll probably end up just going somewhere else.

EDIT: inspection place just called me and said to come down on Wednesday morning and they'll measure it and since he's still not 100% on what to do he'll call the MA Vehicle Program guy when I'm there. Wish me luck

Wow, should not be that difficult to get a dam inspection sticker.

For all those that like to bust on me for missing Texas...
    In my county, safety only.
And even then, it seems more of a suggestion.
    Jeep had trouble.
Hell, my Charger is "illegal" according to Mass
Not even gonna start on the bike

Living in Maine, I can understand why safety inspections are needed, but it should not be a pain in the ass to understand what is safe and what is not.

    @Bridge4
Texas tint, pipes, Legmaker Intake, tune, small stuff.
I still get a sticker, but... gets harder each year.

The Jeep... well. Got sick of that game, a good portion of the reason the Taco came home.

I have no issue with safety inspections.

However, window tint, is NOT a safety issue.

I was planning on working til my foreman went home today cause my plans got cancelled on me for after work. But around 5:45 the power was surging, shut down the machines, smoke break, started them back up around 5:55, and then the whole building went black. Called it a night there and went home

Lots of downed trees on the way home. The FJ is like driving a sailboat in heavy winds. Good times, and by good times I mean white knuckling at times.

Me too, not worth all the hassle. Fortunately, I just go to a little shop on the corner of my street and haven't had any issues (nor should I as my trucks have been pretty much stock as far as inspections are concerned).

Good morning everyone. Hopefully everyone made it unscathed from all that wind yesterday.

Made some progress on the new project. Un-did a prior (poorly done) frame repair and have it straightened for the most part. Here’s the pass side before. You can see the bed is twisted pretty good and leaning to the cab.

    Here’s how it sits now...,

Fixed the cab mount on the other side too. Don’t have a pic yet. I’ll get one tonight.

Fed up with my tenants.. they were home and walked right by the empty barrels in front of the house (yesterday was trash day and both parties myself included are responsible for the garbage barrels). I spent over 30 minutes driving around looking for my barrels after work yesterday. I found 2 of them about 1/4 mile down the street, one a street over and another was in the opposite direction of all of them. Got home checked my security camera and you can see them move the barrel out of their way on the sidewalk to go into the house...

    /end rant

When I moved to NH I got pulled over in my rice'd out Jetta with window tint and they made me pull it off right there on the street otherwise he was going to tow my vehicle. Unfuckingbelievable. It was professionally installed window tint.. you ever try to remove that stuff without heat or water or even a decent scraper? I think I used a leatherman and it made an unreal mess.

I was getting pushed all over the place on the drive in this morning, and it takes a lot of breeze to shove a 3 ton truck around.

Also, this happened yesterday, up on the 'Loaf.
