Can a 2.7l 3rd gen tacoma 2wd go offroading?

    3”lift/leveled
    Hi TacomaWorld. im new to this, is it possible for a 2.7l 2wd tacoma go off roading? if so, what mods need to be upgraded in order to make it into the dirt. thanks in advance for the help!!

    Seriously, good tires, a lift and a locking rear diff will get you started.

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    You can offroad in anything until you get stuck. Then you can recover. ;)

    It's the type of offroading (which can vary wildly) and the skill of the driver that matter most.

    The key here is don't go alone. Have someone with you can is experienced evaluating conditons, able to give driving instructions and able (with both vehicle and skill) to help you recover if things go south.

    You can offroad anything if you have the intestinal fortitude required. A set of big cojones is a plus.
