Necessary with all the salt we have. Otherwise, the receiver and the hitch become one.

I should probably just back away slowly from this threat, but I do have to add that trucks backing in and obscuring part of the sidewalk.... well, now that I use a wheelchair, it has been an issue, not stingers per say, but the truck itself, has blocked me completely from being able to pass. I keep a shackle/d-ring in my receiver, sits pretty even.

I prefer to think of what you did as being 'integrity' related, even though it was respectful.

Respect is a feeling of deep admiration for someone or something elicited by their abilities, qualities, or achievements or due regard for the feelings, wishes, rights, or traditions of others. While it's a fine quality, it's not the same as integrity.

For example, some (thugs) have respect and 'code of honor' in certain matters, but they are still thugs/thieves, whatever.

Integrity is the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles. Regardless of the situation.

Integrity is the only thing no one can ever take from you. You have to give it away.

    Keep it!
