From what I remember (I took on this project a couple years ago) the resistors will get ridiculously hot running all the time because of the DRL function, that's why I modded my relay.

But the relay looks nothing like that one you ordered. Let me dig up a picture...

Edit: here it is, the loops on the bottom right is what you grind down to add resistance

Thanks for all the info on this. I think I'm just going to forget about it and live with factory bulbs. I figured it would be a fun, easy upgrade but there's more to consider than I thought.

Unless... do you think I could use that resistor for the rear signals?

Lol, exactly my thoughts when I took this on. Way more complicated than I expected. I ended up just doing LED's in the rear instead of F/R like I originally planned until eventually I just lost interest.

I think you're fine running the resistors in the rear because it is off of the DRL circuit, but you may want to check around a bit on that.

2015's with the switchable DRL seem to be the most complicated and of course that's what I have haha

Mounted up a mortar container in the bed of my truck using the rails. The box can be moved side to side or easy removed for extra space. Water proof storage. Not sure what I’ll use it for yet ......

Today I replaced my cabin air filter, I wanted to clean it up and throw it back in but it fell apart. So I bought a Fram air cabin replacement (CF10374) on sale at my walmart for 5 bucks so i bought a few and I might just replace mine every 6 months until I run out

Also replaced the wipers, added RainX solution to my windshield fluid. Productive day :woot:

So won these lights at a raffle didn't know what to do so I bolted them onto holes on the bottom side of the bumper and wired them up on a direct switch. Give off a ton of light for hooking up trailers and such which I do almost daily in summer.

But obviously they hang too low and I did bend one of the brakets slightly. Thinking about replacing the entire back bumper in summer. Any recommendations on flush mounted bumper lights?

Are you going to seal up the cubbies? Those things get water in them.

The same shit everyone else has.
Stopped at the pay n spray after work. Then hit it with a quick coat of spray wax. This should suffice until it warms up enough to polish and reseal the paint.
