Damn thermopro probe is already broken. According to google anyways, LLL means it’s damaged by heat or moisture. Which I don’t know how that happened

Just turn up the heat a tad. Looking forward to the finished result! Good to see that shaker going to a good home ;).

No kidding! My ears have been burning all morning.

Have you swapped the probes to see if it's the probe or the controller?

I should be alright. As long as it finishes by 5-6. If it’s goin slow I’ll bump the heat to 270. She’s in at 255.

Not gonna lie, I have an open bag of spicy but I wanted to use the shaker instead! I’ll just refill the shaker with the opened bag haha

call their customer service. They used to offer lifetime probe warranty.
I had mine replaced before for free. then when the other probe went out, they said no lifetime warranty on probes if they were purchased before 2015. some bs like that

    * i just checked and now showing just 3yr warranty if you registered it.

I didn't register lol. And I think I threw away everything else for it. It's up and running now. If it ends up failing on me again, I'll upgrade to something better, thing wasn't too expensive I don't think.

LL means low temp as in below 32 on this thing. Possibly still frozen in the middle?

Ya there was still a bit of frozen bits. Thing had been defrosting for 24+ hours. Oh well all is good. Been on for 5 hours and she’s at 168. Going to open it up and wrap in foil at 170. May just keep her closed up until 200 to try and help speed up the cook so I can let it rest for at least an hour before pulling

Ya I had the same issue with mine on some meat that was still frozen in the center. As soon as the temp came up inside all was good again. Guess it just doesn’t like it real cold.
