    I run the same tires with a RTT and still get 17 to 18 mpg so I'm thinking it's the engine. I have the 3.5

    Yeah Bro.... I have pretty much something close to what you have... mines is;

    -2017 Double cab
    -2.7L. I4
    -2wd with leveling kit
    -17” FN fxPro wheels with 255/70/17
    -MX4 Cover on the bed (which by the way is always empty). for better aerodynamics according to some.
    -I always ‘baby’ this shit and I do not abuse it with a heavy lead foot.

    The ‘F’ing mileage is Horrible !!!!
    16 mpgs on multiple roads/fill ups and trips...

    I know I “modify” the truck but c’mon this is Nothing compared to some other rigs here.

    I did not purchased the Tundra because everyone said that it was a thirsty hog...boy what a mistake that turned out to be at the end.... i’m soooooo disappointed.

    I appreciate the replies as well as the roasting lmao. Seems like it’s pretty normal I guess. I guess it is what it is. I was hoping for “that’s crazy..” or “it should get better than that..”. Apparently I should be happy with what it’s getting with the setup I have. Thanks for the quick feedback guys! This was a fun first post. Fml.

    All good. Once you start modding from stock you go by smiles per mile not miles per gallon
