Dealership isn’t the issue, the issue is Toyota telling them that its normal and they won’t do anything to fix it under warranty. So then I’d have to go spend a lot of money at a mechanic shop to figure out what Toyota can’t figure out and fix it on my dime. On a truck with 1,400 miles on it.

Well if Toyota customer service is like it has been so far, I do doubt that. Just ensures that me and my whole family that has owned 6 other Toyota vehicles will never purchase another from here on out and my wife is about to look for a new vehicle in a year or so.

 

They won’t care. They sell 20,000 a month, people obviously don’t have problems with buying the trucks.

 

If this is a normal problem and people see that and see that Toyota isn’t willing to fix it, in a few years enough will stop for them to feel a little pain in the pocket book.

 

Is that why they used the same piece of shit frame supplier for over a decade?

If underfilled transmissions, leaking differentials and CPS failures that leave trucks stranded won’t do that a little drivetrain vibration is nothing.

It seems your Tacoma sucks. I truly understand if you decide to get rid of it and get a Colorado. On the other hand, you could get a different Tacoma, as the chance that your next Tacoma is also problematic is lower than a non-problematic GM truck.

Look, many of us are sympathetic to your plight. I would be pissed too. But don’t waste everyones time with childish click bait titles. This isn’t TMZ or CNN.

Present your case and ask for advice. You actually already did that before you started this thread.

My advice: document every freaking day the dealer works on your truck. If it isn’t fixed, stick it back in the shop or go to another dealer. If they can’t fix it, you might stand a chance of winning a lemon law case. It isn’t gonna happen here. Don’t believe me? Talk to a lemon lawyer on the requirements to win. One of them will be ceasing to use online media.
