Also, the manager I spoke to at Discount Tire said Cooper is discontinuing the 285/75/16 size for this tire since its uncommon?

285/75 is one of two 33” sizes for 16” wheels. I find that excessively hard to believe.

They told me no. They said it was "bad business to price match a tire that sells normally for 220"

^^^ thats what I'm wondering. If you follow the link and look at the seller "priority tire" and then go to their website to look up the st maxx, its listed for 266.99... Wondering if there was an error on their part.

It’s a price error. No way anyone matches that without getting ripped by their boss haha

Just now seeing this, Thanks! Interesting that is the exact same price as DTD.

Anyone in here seen these "knock off" St maxxs?

Well after a brief internet search It looks like the "Wild trail CTX" is made by cooper.... Looks an awful lot like the ST maxxs.

I just ordered four 295 70 17 E load for 730$ shipped. Kind of hard not to try them out at ~4-500$ cheaper than the maxxs... we shall see.

Thinking I will go from 255/85/16 to 265/75/16 when these wear out. Considering dropping the lift since it is getting harder to get in and out of my truck.

What size are the general’s you are comparing to?
Also were you not happy with generals or just want to try something new?

    Oh yea!

    295/70/17 Generals.

Trying something new to see if it will improve MPGs and reduce road noise. The generals are awesome, but I am going to be doing a lot more road driving this year, so needing help anywhere I can get it.
