There is nothing to jingle in the Tacoma key though, unless for some strange reason you attached house keys or something else to it.

On my keychain, I have house keys, fuel cap key, and gas station Speedpass keytag.

BTW there looks to be no easy way to lock the Ranger fuel filler, since there's no twist cap.

The Ranger is a good looking truck, but not so good looking at the reviews. The rear seat is doesn't fold in a way to make it flat for cargo. Doesn't have good articulation for offroading. And the MPG number is bunk. TFL ran one from LA to Denver, 20mpg. TFL ran one towing on the Ike Gauntlet, MPG towing was about .1 MPG better than the Tacoma.

Then you throw in that ridiculous 18 gallon fuel tank . . . .

I’ve always thought the first, second, third gen Ranger 4x4 and sport editions were incredibly sharp looking trucks, especially when lifted 3’ plus... Whenever I see one it’s an automatic head-turner for me. Personally I’m not feeling the new aesthetic, the new rangers just seem like micro f150s, I’m glad they’re making them again, but I wish they had more of a distinguishing look.

I am sure you can get a locking cap if you want want since it is an option for the other Ford vehicles. I haven't felt a need to get one since I am hardly in any sketchy areas and park inside my garage at night. The easy fill is a nice feature.

^Ah OK, looks like Ford sells a locking butt plug with a key for it:

    LOL, buttplug. That’s funny shit.

Seriously though capless fueling is something that once you have it, you want it on every vehicle. No dicking around with the cap every fueling and no check engine lights when your significant other doesn’t remember to tighten down the cap until it clicks. If fuel theft is a problem in your area though I could see it as not being a desired feature.

^Agreed capless filling is convenient. I'm just concerned about sabotage. If the Taco had a locking fuel door, I'd convert the filler to a capless type like I did with my Subaru. Yeah Ford's locking plug would solve that problem on Fords.
