When is the last time you have driven a modern direct injected turbo? There is little spool time, and the torque curve is almost flat starting at 1600 rpms.

The big difference I notice with turbo 4cylider vs NA v6 is when there is weight involved. When I have buddy’s in my 4xxwhp caliber srt4 it’s a slug. When I’m solo it’s a rocket. My truck slows down when loaded but not as noticeable. In a v8 truck hardly feels like there’s a difference.

You’re waiting for turbo vs immediate large displacement motor power. Like the old saying goes, there’s no replacement for displacement (unless you put a turbo on it without reduction).

I keep reading about f150s and diesels and blah blah blah, I got my truck for the Offroad capabilities (whether or not I use them where another truck could go is another thing). Ive taken f250s, silverados, rams, and hd2500 chevys off road and this truck handles the best by far. I used to have a platinum f250 with 35in open countrys and my TRD OR handled better in the same strip of mud with stock tires. On top of that the f250 was taking $80 worth of diesel every 2 days, hence what pushed me to look into another truck. Then I had the choice, silverado, ram eco diesel or tacoma. It was close tbh, but since I drive a lot and the tacoma had a really good OR option the choice was made. If op wanted better mpgs then you shouldnt be complaining about power, same with OR capabilities.

magnuson charger plus OV tune puts you over 300... Local shop here in Calgary is supplier for chargers and OV tune install, and been on dyno for weeks getting things dialed in. AND thats on a 2nd gen with over 500000 km on the engine, no joke.

I thought Magnuson for the 3.5L was vaporware until proven otherwise?
