The whole reason I bought my 4dr Taco nearly 10yrs ago was because of kid car seat and having to do a bit of everything. I needed daily driver reliability, that I got. Now I'm wanting to go back to 2dr truck. Congrats

Looks more like your trucks leaking than anything.

And I'm of the mindset that as long as it's not a 2wd I can dig it.
Some guys are Jeep guys Some guys are Toyota guys some like other models.
Me. I'm a transfer case guy.

For sure, my first vehicle I bought once I was working out of high school was a new jeep, back in 88.
Loved it. Love my Tacoma as well, both are fun to drive.

Rear face went in the middle. Had a feeling it would.

Yeah. Two rear facing would have been painful. Glad first kid is front facing

Welcome to TW. Nothing wrong with owning both but I spend more $$ now on the tacoma since we got a few kayaks and recently added Max, 55lb goldendoodle to the family. Currently painting and installing a softopper so we can transport Max on trips. 98 wrangler in background.20181222_070509.jpg

    Welcome to the Tacoma World!

Jeep Wranglers and Tacomas are really two very different category vehicles. Now that Jeep has finally returned to the truck market with the 2019 Gladiator, I look forward to more direct comparisons.

I owned one Jeep (a Cherokee Chief) and my wife did too when I met her in 2004 (a CJ-5), and now, I have had three 4x4 Tacomas and she has had three Corollas...

Since 1974, I have also owned three Subaru 4x4 wagons, a Mazda van, a Hyundai, a Plymouth van, a VW street legal buggy, and a Mitsubishi truck.

Only the American brands were terrible (Jeep and Plymouth) to own due to repeated fails and breakdowns... why is that? So sad... but since 2000, only Toyotas in my garage.
