Long time lurker, first post here.
I purchased my 2004 Tacoma Base 2.4l 5spd from my grandfather after the family decided he shouldn't drive anymore. He couldn't feel his legs and would forget what he was doing. he sideswiped a new guard rail with the truck. he worked the truck hard hauling everything and anything.

I have been doing things to improve the truck. i replaced rims & tires, because he smushed them under a bobcat (trying to bring it home from work in the tacoma). i replaced the rear end due to a bad seal. than again due to the rear plate rotting out. i replaced the bench seat with buckets. i redid the suspension all around.

I need to replace the tailgate and bed. and the passenger fender. i would like to do power windows & locks, as well as cruise control.

It only has 81k miles. but its been worked!

I learned how to abuse the pour truck from him!

welcome! Nice truck to start with. Cool that you’re putting back together because you’ll always have the truck that granddad had.
