I know I found this information here before, but having a tough time repeating that this morning.
What parts are required along with these assemblies in order to do a proper install?

Could someone please link me to the instructional thread that covers the process?

Road noise has gotten worse and drops off suddenly with a slight left turn, so I think the bearings are really due this time and would like to swap them out before I lose a wheel doing 70 on the way to work.

    Thanks!

I thought I had one bad bearing, but it turned out it was both. One a bit worse off than the other. Quiet as a Caddilac now.

Any suggestions on what to do with the old hubs?

I just had the same, much quieter than before. Seems a little ridiculous on a truck with just over 60k miles that doesn't see any offroading or mudding.

I plan to keep my old hubs and rebuild them as spares for when I need to do this again at 120k. I don't mind pressing bearings in and out when I'm not under the gun to get the truck driveable again.

    thanks for the response.

    I'll do the same.

I changed mine at about 75k. I bought my truck in January of 2011. my truck is mostly a long road trip truck. I'm leaving March 2nd for about a 2,500 mile trip. Much of it will be in the Utah desert. I do a similar trip in British Columbia each year. I'll certainly own it at 150k.

    Hey @05Taco4x4 ,
    Congrats on the steady business!
Lurking around here it seems you have removal and install instructions you PM to folks.
Could you post them up on your front page? Might be good for business and cut down on your need to re-answer the same questions!
I'm at 66K so hopefully won’t be ordering a pair for a while

Just an fyi this kit doesn't fit the spindle oil seal https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01GVQOSA4 it doesn't have a driver big enough, not a big deal since it was cheap I'll eventually use it for something. The https://www.amazon.com/dp/B003V5JCGO I believe is the correct sizing, hopefully it will help some people save a few bucks.

Are these hubs sold as pairs or single? Think I lost my passenger side today. Noise is different than the last time though...more tinny sounding, like something is loose and rattling but it is only when I turn. And I was just thinking that I have about 70k on my replacement hubs.

Around what mileage are you dude's bearings failing? My 2012 OR has 92k miles and wondering if I should be saving up for a pair now or if I should just order a pair now and have them with me for when they do fail.

I started to hear the hum in my 05 TRD Sport at about 150K and they got worse soon after. Just ordered them from @05Taco4x4.
