Timing cover leak? And 3rd brake light leak

    Lifted, kmc 17x9, Cooper 33s, katzskin leather, topper, front bumper light bar.
    Found what looks like the timing cover leak. Also have water leaking in from the rear, possibly 3rd brake light. The leak must be very slow I've never seen any oil on the ground but there's quite a bit in the area I've seen addressed in other posts by the ps pump.20190228_170719.jpg

    And you're sure it's not power steering fluid?

    Could be that. I've done some research on here about the 2 issues. It's brown when I wipe it with a white towel but I just saw that my power steering fluid looks to also be brownish. Going to the dealer on mon its under warranty luckily.

    If it's the timing cover I'd recommend to just get it documented for now. Unless you start losing oil to the point of having to refill between changes I wouldn't want techs of unknown skills tearing down my motor.
    Maybe you can squeeze extended power train warranty out of this.
    Then get it fixed on the last day of warranty

    It has the extended 7yr 100k warranty and I'm definitely not excited about the amount of work that the timing cover leak requires. The truck has 36k on it now but I've only had it for 3 months. Still going through it and checking things
