'10 BSP PreRunner Dbl Cab Short Bed SR5

Pardon me if this has been discussed before, but have any of you taken off the chrome ring around the TRD beadlock wheels and driven them without it? I recently purchased a set, and they came with the ring not yet installed and I actually find it nicer without it haha.
