That ratio is where these trucks often see compromises in terms of drivetrain strength. You sure you want that low of a ratio?

I really do not know anything about all this. only I realized that now with the lift and with this tire measurement 35x12.5 x20 the rpm is almost always 3000 and up. and watching videos on YouTubeinfind I guy who made this change his Tacoma With this problem.
I thought maybe it was a good option for my taco

Part of me hopes you’re a troll because reading that just about made my eyes bleed.

A lower ratio isn’t going to lower your RPMs at highway speeds but you’ll have more power so if you keep your foot out of the skinny pedal the transmission will upshift. Pretty difficult to tell what exactly you’re after here.

    thanks for all this information.
This is my everyday driving Tacoma I love the lift and the look . What i’m really looking something to help my truck driving because constantly looking for gears I’m thinking on down size my tires from 20” to 18

That's steep! Had 4.88s on my old JKU. Of course my overdrive was super steep. .067 was running 33s and turned about 2500 at 70 mph. Which was perfect for the set up. Still learning about Toyota's. I would think that would be overkill for 35s. Maybe 4.56s. You would lose a bunch of gas mileage on the highway.
